Executive Education Faculty

 

Our workshops and custom programs are taught by distinguished faculty drawn from more than 120 UCF College of Business scholars who are well-recognized and published in their fields. They are specifically chosen to lead our programs for their ability to communicate effectively, relate their research to current business events and provide relevant learning experiences with foremost focus on immediate applicability to participants’ jobs and organizations. The faculty share their expertise, provide insights on real-world business issues and incorporate participants’ personal experiences into program discussions. They use consultative teaching approaches by combining lectures, case studies, group exercises, discussion forums and short group presentations to maximize learning.


Darryl Allen, Ph.D.

Prior to attaining his PhD in Accounting at George Washington University, Dr. Darryl Allen worked 25 years for ExxonMobil, most recently serving as Accounting Executive for Nigeria, Indonesia, and Qatar. He draws rave reviews for his ability to relate stories of “real-life business Accounting,” which students can immediately apply to their own firms. He teaches accounting in our Finance & Accounting for Non-Financial Managers.

 


Melissa Francisco, Ph.D.

Dr. Melissa Francisco has worked for Lockheed Martin Corporation for 13 years in positions of increasing responsibility in the fields of Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Quality. She is an Adjunct Professor for the College of Engineering at UCF and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. She teaches our Foundations of Project Management workshop.

 


Cynthia Gundy

Ms. Cyndi Gundy is an award winning Marketing and Professional Selling Instructor, who also serves as an advisor for UCF’s exclusive Professional Selling Program. She also provides professional consulting and executive training services to a large variety of clients who desire training in marketing strategy, personal selling technique and development. She shares her expertise in our Business Development and Sales Strategies workshop.


Amit Joshi, Ph.D.

Dr. Amit Joshi is an Associate Professor of Marketing. His research, which focuses on Return on Marketing Investment, Social Media, and Branding and uses cutting-edge techniques to solve applied problems, has been highly awarded. Prior to joining academia, Dr. Joshi worked for Cadbury India Ltd. He teaches our Business Data Analytics workshop.

 


James S. Keebler, Ph.D.

Dr. James Keebler has over 25 years of practical experience in marketing and operations across several large industries. He held senior management positions with The Pillsbury Company, Bergen Brunswig Corporation, and Digital Equipment Corporation and owned and operated two businesses. He taught supply chain and operations management at a number of universities around the country. He will be teaching our Supply Chain Management workshop.

 


Keri Kozlowski, J.D., M.P.H.

Keri Kozlowski is a leader in Employee Relations Consultation, Workplace Investigations, Ombuds Services, and Human Resources Policy Development. She represented the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County’s hospital, public health, and medical examiner entities. She was also assistant counsel to the public school system and later served as a Chief Performance Officer/Director of Office of Quality Improvement for Metro Public Health Department. Ms. Kozlowski teaches our Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution workshop.


Nasser Kutkut, Ph.D.

Dr. Nasser Kutkut has more than 17 years of entrepreneurial and technology management experience and was the founder / co-founder of a number of high tech start-up companies. He was also secured contracts for fortune 500 companies including General Motors, Kraft Foods, Toyota Motors, and Campbell Soup. Dr. Kutkut is the holder of 13 U.S. and international patents and leads our Effective Negotiation workshop.

 


Carolyn Massiah, Ph.D.

Dr. Carolyn Massiah is a Clinical Professor of Marketing and an award winning instructor. Her research, which focuses primarily upon intergroup relations among consumers and uses of Social Media, has been published in the top marketing journals and presented at various conferences. She shares her insights on how organizations can benefit from the use of social media in our Social Media workshop.

 


Robert Porter, Ph.D.

Dr. Bob Porter is the Executive Academic Director of the UCF Executive Development Center and a leadership and strategy lecturer. Prior to joining academia, he enjoyed an illustrious career with General Electric, NCR Power Systems, and AT&T, along with numerous start-ups and entrepreneurial ventures. He shares his experience in our Strategic Leadership workshop.

 


Steven Whiting, Ph.D.

Dr. Whiting is an active leader in the Organizational Behavior division of the Academy of Management. He has been recognized for teaching excellence at every level of the university and frequently teaches various management and HR courses at the Executive and Professional MBA program and Professional Master in Human Resource Management. He has led executive education programs for world-class organizations such as Samsung, Ingersoll-Rand, Cummins, and John Deere and has developep our brand new Change Management workshop.
